Centre of preparation of educational and methodological editions Library Contact Us Site map	Faculty of Finance and Banking Dean, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Igor Valentinovych Smolin The Faculty of Finance and Banking was established in 1993. Total number of students - 400. Research and teaching staff of the faculty accounts for 60% of teachers with scientific degrees of candidate and doctor of sciences. The faculty consists of 4 departments: • Department of Banking - graduating in two specialties: "Banking" and "Finance" (specialization "Financial intermediation") • Department of Finance, graduating in a specialty "Finance", specialization "State Finance", "Management of state financial resources", "Insurance management". • Department of Statistics and econometrics • Department of Higher and Applied Mathematics • Department of Philosophy and Social Sciences • Department of Psychology     Training is carried out according to modern techniques in classrooms with up-to-date equipment. The departments have computer labs equipped with modern computing and office equipment. Students have the opportunity to work in local area computer networks and the Internet. "Finance" specialization "Financial intermediation" - prepares professionals who can hold positions of managers and specialists of different levels and experts specialized in factoring, leasing, investment companies, real estate, brokerage firms and banking institutions, as well as government agencies that regulate functioning financial market.
